The oil cooler of the M30 does not
fit within the engine compartment of the e30, as it is too big. The
connections for the M20 oil cooler are located on the wrong side, so it
cannot be reused. The oil cooler of the e30 M3 fits with no modifications,
and the connections are on the right sides. If Engine Position I or II is
used the flexible hoses work with no
problems. In Engine Position III the
tubes are too short, and longer ones must be used.
