The following are estimations of the costs involved in the 335i project.  The prices listed below do not account for any labor charges, except where specified. All prices shown below are average, thus these can often be less than listed (although often more as well).  The costs of inspections and taxes are not accounted for.

• Complete Engine/Transmission Assembly (e32/e34 211 Hp): starting from around $850
• Alternative Complete Engine/Transmission Assembly (e23/e24/e28 218 Hp): starting around $350
• Suitable e30 M3 exhaust with Cat.: starting around $450
• Custom Exhaust Work (labor included): $250
• Motor Mount Brackets: about $200
• e30 M3 Driveshaft: starting at around $200
• Shortening and Other Custom Driveshaft Work (labor included): $300
• e30 M3 Transmission Mount: new; around $50
• e28 535i Radiator: starting around $125
• Electric Fan: starting at $125
• Miscellaneous:  $250
• Total: $2285-$2785

• Manufacture the motor mount brackets
• Modify and use the exhaust from the donor car
